It is a groundplane independent 1/2 wave design suitable for either handheld or access point applications. The antenna dimensions can be chosen to suit a particular application.

The WR868 is a right-angled fixed 1/4 wave stub antenna for the 868 MHz frequency. Designed for fixed location monitoring and telemetry applications using ISM band frequencies, it is an ideal, cost-effective performer where a tough stubby antenna is required.

The WR868 has a black durable acetal cover this is threaded onto the coaxial connector. The connector is a SMA male connector. An RP-SMA connector can also be specified on this antenna.

868 MHz whip antenna with flying lead

The W868-FLY is an 1/4 wave 868 MHz Whip antenna with a permanent mount and a flying lead. Primarily designed for fixed panel mount applications the W868-FLY offers an alternative to the standard whip antennas terminated in coaxial connectors. To mount the antenna, the antenna base is pushed through an aperture in the panel and then secured with a nut from underneath. The W868-FLY will also support 915 and 920 MHz applications.
